Report on Health Activity at Gandhi Hospital on on 25-7-2014(Friday) with Dell Employees with the support of Youth For Seva and Gandhi Hospital Authorities.
Activities:
1). Volunteered at "Help Desk" in Outpatient Block.
2). Visited Inpatient Wards and spoked with the patients.
3). Afternoon, Played with the kids in Pediatric Ward.
4). Distributed biscuits in Pediatriac & Feamale ward.

Vivekananda Vritthi Vidya Kendram at Madhava Vidyalayam, Yapral
Branch of Vivekananda Vritthi Vidya Kendram was opened at Madhava Vidyalayam,Balajinagar,Yapral on 01.08.2014.
There are 13 Stitching machines Donated by Vysya sangam and Rotary club. Mrs. Vinitha who is coordinator of this
branch was hopeful that she will be able to gather the Ladies in and around Yapral and impart the best training.The
opening function was attended by Sri Raghupathi Reddy Garu,President Madhava seva samithi, Sri Prasad Garu of
Vysya Sangam and others.

Free Food service at Gandhi Hospital Seva Bharathi - Sivananda Shelter Home
Last week Seva Bharathi has started distributing free Meals daily at Gandhi Hospital Seva Bharathi - Sivananda Shelter Home for 50-60 persons. The Home provides Shelter and food to the attendants of the needy and poor in - patients from the rural out of station in particular.
This meals is sponsored by one Smt. Laxmi Garu.

Abhybasika Nirvahaks Varga Sevabharathi Secunderabad
Abhybasika Nirvahaks Varga was held on 17.08.2014 at Sankara Nilayam, Seva Bharathi Office, Neredmet,Secunderabad. 37 Nirvahaks attended the Varga out of 57. Most of the Abhyasika / Tution center organisers were on Enumarator Assistants duty for Survey by Telangana Government.
Most of the Nirvahaks have reported on the previous day Evening.
The I st Session on Physiology taken by Sri.Sarmaji,a member of international Physiology association.
The II nd Session was on Vedic Maths by Sri Balendra ji.
The III rd was interactive session by Jaaganji and IV was on Simple methods to understand Science By Murthyji of Vigyan Bharathi.

Seva Bharathi,Secunderabad Vibagh in association with Sangameswara Ayurveda Trust, conducted Blood Donation camp on 24.08.2014
The Camp was conducted at Sangameswara Ayurveda Trust where 60 donors have come to donate Blood. Due to Medical Problems like Low /High BP,Diabetic and other reasons 9 of them were rejected.
Dr.Ramalingeswara Swamy the president of the Aurveda Hospital spoke on the need of Blood Donation. Sri Durga Reddy Garu,Sangachalak of the Secunderabd vibagh was also present.

Appeal to support Jammu & kashmir flood victims: Sewabharati
Natural Calamities may strike anybody, anytime in any region.
The flood due to continuous raining for past few days in Jammu & Kashmir has caused,
1.Thousands of people are trapped
2. Death toll in Jammu region 105 and Kashmir region 15.
3.Hundreds of houses have been swept away
4. Roads are blocked due to landslides.
Sewa Bharati J&K with hundreds of Karyakartas are working day & night, to rescue thousands of people trapped, arranging the last rites of the dead, the temporary shelter for the homeless, distributing blankets & warm clothes, arranging langars, milk for children, medical aid etc, there are much bigger task of assessing the loss of human lives, cattles, houses etc. The roads are being repaired by the govt/army.
Now for the time being it is a clarion call to all the citizens of this country, NGOs, other philanthropist organizations, corporates to rise to the occasion and help our needy brethren in Jammu & Kashmir to come out of the present crisis by donating generously by way of Cash, material etc.
The immediate requirements for the next 2 days are,
1. 1.Blankets 1000 for Jammu, 2000 for Kashmir
2. 2.Ration material
3. 3.Milk packets, Biscuit packets, new clothes (warm) for men, women & children
4. 4.Tarpaulin:- 500 for Jammu, 500 for Kashmir

Material Required: Large quantities of good quality blankets, woolens, tarpaulin, basic medicines, utensils, good quality solar torches, buckets, torch and batteries, umbrellas, water purifier tablets, crutches, candles, rope. Also, old flex banners, mats, contributions for Sanitary pads & Sujnis

Sewabharati Telangana has conducted a Medical camp at Vaidehi Ashram; A Home for Destitute Girls with the help of Gandhi Hospital Doctors under the Leadership of Dr.Hari Anupama & Dr. Indira.
A Simultaneous Eye Screening was carried out by Pushpagiri Eye Institute, Secunderabad.
Government Health & Medicial Services (GHMS) has supplied the medicines for the camp while Blood Tests for Sugar,Hemoglobin and Tyraid were also carried out.
Total 175 Girls (Ashram and Kishori Vikas kendra Nirvahaks) were examined.
